KC's Campground is conveniently located at our takeout spot and just a short walk to our store. Adjacent to our campground is the public park with baseball fields, basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground, walking track and boat ramps for your enjoyment. KC's campground is open April 1 thru October 14.

National Forest Service Campgrounds
KC's is the concessionaire for two National Forest Service campgrounds (Deer Leap and Float Camp). Both campgrounds are located within a few feet of the beautiful water of the Current River. Float Camp campground was completely renovated in 2011. Float Camp now offers fully paved roads and parking spots. RV sites (singles and double) are complete with electric hookup, picnic table, fire ring with grill grate, and lantern pole. Tent sites each have a new picnic table, fire ring with grill grate, and lantern pole. Float Camp has one of the best gravel bar beaches on the lower Current River, great for swimming, fishing, and lots and lots of sunbathing! The Deer Leap campground is currently under renovation and should be open and ready by April 1, 2012. Sorry campsites cannot be reserved so come early to get your favorite spot. Both Forest Service campgrounds are open April 1 thru September 30, 2012.

Float Camp Pavilion
Whether you are planning a wedding reception, family reunion, or birthday party you will enjoy the pavilion available at the Forest Service Float Camp location maintained by KC's. The float camp park area was recently renovated in 2011 to improve the parking and walkway down to the river's edge.
The pavilion will accommodate up to 75 people with picnic tables, a large BBQ pit, BBQ grills, electric outlets, nearby concrete vault toilets, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, and swimming area. Call the National Recreation Reserve System at 877-444-6777 or visit the website at www.recreation.gov
