KC's on the Current Campground!

KC's Campground is conveniently located at our takeout spot and just a short walk to our store. Adjacent to our campground is the public park with baseball fields, basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground, walking track and boat ramps for your enjoyment.

National Forest Service Campgrounds

KC’s is the concessionaire for two National Forest Service campgrounds (Deer Leap and Float Camp). Both campgrounds are located within a few feet of the beautiful waters of the Current River. Both campgrounds offer swimmer access to the river, fire rings, BBQ grills, parking areas, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Deer Leap campground also offers water at a central location. Campsites are $12 per site per night. Sorry campsites cannot be reserved so come early to get your favorite spot.

Float Camp Pavilion

Whether you are planning a wedding reception, family reunion, or birthday party you will enjoy the pavilion available at the Forest Service Float Camp location maintained by KC’s. The pavilion offers picnic tables with seating for approximately 50, a large BBQ pit, nearby vault toilets, volleyball, horseshoes, electric outlets, and swimming area. Call the National Recreation Reserve System at 877-444-6777 or visit the website at www.recreation.gov. Enter Float Camp in the Park/Facility name to pull up the information and reserve your date. Reserve today before the good dates are all taken. Rental rate is $25 per day plus reservation fees and $2 per car parking fees.
